Riverside Transit Agency 5-12-2024

On May 12, 2024, RTA will adjust several routes and trips to increase frequency, enhance connections, provide access to more destinations and improve on-time performance. This guide is designed to give you a preview of those upcoming changes so you can plan ahead. A full list of schedules can be viewed in early May when RTA debuts its new Ride Guide at RiversideTransit.com. Questions or comments? Affected Routes: 1, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 22, 27, 28, 31, 44, 61, 200, 204, and 206.

Route 1: Weekday schedule in both directions will be adjusted to increase frequency to every 15 minutes from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Route 10: The weekday schedule in both directions will be adjusted to improve efficiency.

Route 12: The route will no longer travel to Chase Road and will instead travel along Center Street. Weekday and weekend schedules will be adjusted to improve efficiency.

Route 13: The route will serve bus stop 4789 on Magnolia Avenue instead of bus stop 1063 at the Galleria at Tyler Mall.

Route 14: The weekday schedule in both directions will be adjusted to improve efficiency.

Route 15: The route will serve bus stop 4789 located on Magnolia Avenue instead of bus stop 1063 at the Galleria at Tyler Mall.

Route 16: The weekday eastbound trip departing UCR at Bannockburn at 5:10 p.m. will be adjusted to improve connections with the Route 31 at the Moreno Valley Mall.

Route 18: The route will be extended to serve Corporate Centre Place. Service frequency will be decreased by approximately 25 minutes on weekdays and 10 minutes on weekends.

Route 19: The weekday schedule in both directions will be adjusted to improve connections with other routes.

Route 22: The weekday northbound trip departing the Perris Station Transit Center at 6:40 p.m. will be adjusted to depart at 6:45 p.m. to improve connections with the Route 19 at the Perris Station Transit Center. The weekday southbound trip departing the Vine Street Mobility Hub at 6:25 a.m. will be adjusted to better connect with the Route 19 at the Perris Station Transit Center. The weekday southbound trip departing the Vine Street Mobility Hub at 5:20 a.m. will be adjusted to improve efficiency.

Route 27: The route will now serve bus stop 4789 on Magnolia Avenue instead of bus stop 1063 at the Galleria at Tyler Mall. The weekday northbound trip departing the Perris Station Transit Center at 6:27 a.m. will be adjusted to maintain on-time performance.

Route 28: The weekday schedule in both directions will be adjusted to improve connections and efficiency.

Route 31: The southbound weekday trip departing the Moreno Valley Mall at 5:50 p.m. will be adjusted to depart at 6 p.m.

Route 44: The clockwise weekday trip departing the Hemet Valley Mall at 7 p.m. will be adjusted to depart at 7:05 p.m. The counterclockwise weekend trip departing Mt. San Jacinto College in San Jacinto at 5:35 a.m. will be adjusted to depart at 5:10 a.m. to connect with Route 28 at the Hemet Valley Mall.

Route 61: The route will no longer travel to Ellis Ave. The portion of the route between Newport and Bradley roads will be adjusted to travel on portions of Haun and La Piedra roads. The weekend schedule in both directions will be adjusted to maintain on-time performance.

Route 200: The Route 200 bus stop 3489 on Lemon Street and University Avenue will no longer be a timepoint but it will continue to be served. The weekday schedule in both directions will be adjusted to maintain on-time performance. Eastbound trips will now serve bus stop 4789 on Magnolia Avenue instead of bus stop 1063 at the Galleria at Tyler Mall.

Route 204: The northbound trip departing from bus stop 3575 on Market Street near University Avenue at 5:13 a.m. will instead depart from bus stop 1002 on University Avenue near Lemon Street at 5:12 a.m.

Route 206: The southbound trip departing Corona Transit Center at 6:10 p.m. will be adjusted to depart at 6 p.m.
