Paper transfers from King County Metro are not accepted on Sound Transit routes. ORCA cards are accepted.

Link light rail fares

Fares on the 1 Line range from $2.25 to $3.50 each way depending on distance traveled. Before boarding the trains, buy your train ticket from a ticket machine or use an ORCA card.

Fares on the 2 Line range from $2.25 to $2.50 each way depending on distance traveled. Before boarding the trains, buy your train ticket from a ticket machine or use an ORCA card.

The T Line is $2.00 no matter the distance traveled. Before boarding the trains, buy your train ticket from a ticket machine or use an ORCA card.

All Sound Transit services cost $1.00 for ORCA Lift or Regional Reduced Fare Permit holders, and free for youth.

Link Light Rail uses the proof of payment system and passengers caught without a valid ticket or pass are subject to eviction and/or citation. OCRA card riders need to tap on at a yellow card reader before boarding and tap off after exiting so that proper fare is charged.

Sounder fares

Fares on Sounder range from $3.25 to $5.75 each way depending on distance traveled. Before boarding the trains, buy your train ticket from a ticket machine or use an ORCA card. Sounder uses the proof of payment system and passengers caught without a valid ticket or pass are subject to eviction and/or citation. OCRA card riders need to tap on at a yellow card reader before boarding and tap off after exiting so that proper fare is charged.

PugetPass

A regional monthly pass is available to ORCA card holders. The pass is sold at prices range from $18 to $207 for fare values range from $0.50 to $5.75. It is accepted for regular service for various transit providers in the region. If the actual fare exceeds the fare value on the pass, a fare upgrade is required. PugetPass also allows users to get extra trips on Amtrak Cascades between Seattle and Everett.
